Make sure to drink a lot of fluids as dehydration causes may people to get tired and moody, which increases the risk of going to food for comfort. By eating out less often and eating meals with lots of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and beans, you can be filled up with minimal calories and fat. You should also allow yourself treats in moderation because not depriving yourself will make you more likely to stick with your plan longer.</p>

<p>Keeping your perspective is also very important. A lot of people give up after they break their good behavior. <p>I want to get something clear, by the end of this article you re not going to be a fat burning machine. You won t instantly, magically lose weight. But hopefully you ll pick up a few little tips that you can incorporate into your life, to help you get on the fast track to a healthier, fitter body.</p>
<p>1   Don t let your tea and coffee ruin your body! On their own tea and coffee are more or less harmless (except for a few nasties in coffee) and won t make you put on weight. But, it s the nasties that you add that make the difference; it s the full fat milk, the cream or the sugar that pile on the calories. And these are hidden calories, because you barely notice you re consuming them. A cup of coffee with cream and two sugars can quickly add a few hundred extra calories to your diet.</p>
<p>2   You ll hate me for saying this, but you really do need to count the calories as you eat them. If you are really serious about losing weight, you must track everything you put in your mouth. Remember your body is a machine, you must feed it the right fuel, and the right amount of fuel. Get a list of the calorie content of common foods, read the labels and speak to a nutritionist if necessary.</p>
<p>3   Overindulged? If you ve eaten too much, or had a bad binge day, you ve got to make up for it, and I don t mean by starving yourself the next day. You ve got to work off the calories by doing exercise, and extra exercise if you ve overeaten.</p>
<p>4   Beware of fried foods! If it s fried, it s going to be fatty. If you re on weight loss, fat burning mission, then fried foods are your #1 enemy. You must duck, dive and evade all things fried. The oil or fat the food is fried in, is stuffed with more calories than you d imagine, even when excess oil is drained away, the residual oil calorie content is astronomical. Run away, far away, from any fried foods.</p>
<p>5   Skip meals at your peril! This is one of the critical mistakes many people who try to lose weight make. You need at least 3 regular meals a day, if your are training seriously, top athletes will split this into 6 small meals throughout the day. This keeps hunger at bay longer and keeps your metabolism charging at full throttle. Skipping meals causes your metabolism to slow, you burn less fat, and food that you do eat is stored as fat, as your body goes into survival mode in case it s not fed again for another day. You MUST eat consistently and regularly.</p>
<p>6   Eat all the fresh vegetables you can get your hands on. If you ve got a choice and the cash, always go for fresh vegetables over canned or cooked, raw and fresh are better. When you cook them up, you lose lots of the vitamins and goodness in the process. If you re boiling them, save the water and use as gravy or stock to make the most of the goodness that s in the water. Canned vegetables are processed which means they too lose a lot of their goodness. If you can t get fresh, get frozen; the freezing process locks in the nutrients providing they ve been frozen quickly after harvesting.</p>
<p>So right there are 6 common sense tips to help you burn fat faster. Burning fat and losing weight doesn t need to be difficult, you just need to be consistent with everything you do – eat the right foods and exercise regularly. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In this article I m going to touch on 5 common sense, easy tips to help you burn fat fast, which in turn will help you lose weight. But I ve got to warn you, these tips and strategies alone are not a magic pill that will cut pounds off your body. To do that you need a holistic approach of healthy eating and exercise.</p>

<p>These are just a few of the strategies I ve found to help live a healthier lifestyle and to keep my weight under control.</p>
<p>1   Too many eggs can spoil the party. Try not to eat too many eggs; egg yolks are very high in fat, approximately 10  (10 grams of fat in 100), of which 27  is saturated fat, which clearly has implications for people at risk from high cholesterol or people who may be susceptible to high cholesterol. Try not to eat too many, less than 4 a week if possible.</p>
<p>2   Break bad habits! If you have a habit of scoffing chocolates after your meal or as a snack, stop. Make them a luxury and an occasional treat, not a regular routine. Chocolates shouldn t really be part of your diet at all, your body DOESN T need chocolate, so don t over do it, if you do have some. Make it a luxury you look forward to, maybe once a week to keep yourself sane and to reward yourself for your hard work during the rest of the week.</p>
<p>3   Don t just eat foods from one particular food group. To maintain a healthy diet you need to eat foods from every food group, every day. Fad diets where you just eat one food group are just that, fads, they don t work long term because it s not a healthy way to live. By avoiding or cutting out certain food groups, you are making yourself more susceptible to deficiencies and potential illness. Vary your diet on a day to day basis to keep yourself sane and stop you from getting bored of healthy eating – with the right recipes, healthy eating is fun!</p>
<p>4   Don t drink alcohol. This is a tough one for many people. But the simple fact of the matter is that alcohol is not good for you and has a very high calorie content. Not only is alcohol very fattening, it also lowers you inhibitions, and the diet that you ve stuck to so well, will disappear into thin air after a few drinks, and the kebab or pizza shop/takeaway will start calling you.</p>
<p>5   Get up and eat. Make sure that you eat within at least an hour of getting out of bed. You need to food to break the fast, to kick your metabolism back up a gear and charge up your body for a hard days work. Don t wait around getting hungry, you need that food in your system, breakfast is far and away the most important meal of the day, miss it and you miss out. It doesn t need to be big, but it needs to be healthy.</p>
<p>Right there are 5 simple tips you can put to use in your life immediately, to help get you on to the fast track to a leaner, healthier body. As I like to say, it s not rocket science, you just the right direction, plenty of determination and commitment, and you ll be hitting those goals quicker than you could imagine. The weight that you lose in a short amount of time is typically water weight. In fact, a whopping 90  of it! The weight will be put right back on as soon as your body rehydrates. If your body doesn t rehydrate, you can suffer life threatening health problems.</p>

<p>Other fad diets may not have such outrageous claims but are generally over priced and not as effective as they claim. Some of the diet programs that provide food as part of the program have food that just plain tastes bad. Of course you ll lose weight if that s the only thing you eat! Other diets can be very restrictive, not with just the amounts of food you are allowed to eat, but with the times of day you can eat them. Many are so restrictive that they are nearly impossible to follow and the dieter gives up on it after a few days.</p>
<p>Most diets that predict a speedy and easy weight loss are based on a certain food, like the grapefruit diet. Following a diet like this for very long is not good for your health. You do not get the nutritional benefits that you do from a balanced diet. Some suggest that you take vitamins when following the diet, but vitamins alone aren t going to keep you healthy.</p>
<p>When you start a new diet, you re probably super motivated. But, you ll soon become bored with eating the same things over and over again. After a short while, you will give up and feel that it s your fault that you couldn t follow the diet. Not true! The  non  diet you should follow is a balanced meal plan with the correct amount of food groups. If you do lose weight following the diet, you ll most likely gain it back in just a short time.</p>
<p>Fad diets do not follow the guidelines recommended by the American Heart Association. A meal plan that is low in fat and high in nutritive value is much better for you than a weight loss  crash  diet that restricts you to just a few food types.</p>
<p>You should be making lifestyle changes that result in long term results instead of following a  quick  weight loss diet. Modifying your eating habits is the only way to stay at your target weight once you ve lost the weight you want. Yo yo weight loss can be just as detrimental to your health as being overweight. Stick to a healthy weight loss plan with reasonable portion sized meals for the best results.</p>

There are no targeted exercises you can do to eliminate the “extra” from specific body areas.</p>

<p>Genetics determine regions of the body that tend to store more fat. There is only one way to reduce the fat stored in those areas, and that is to cut your body’s overall fat stores. Healthy eating that reduces caloric intake coupled with consistent calorie burning exercise will aid in reducing body fat. So here is the most effective, and perhaps unsurprising, way to get rid of unwanted body fat:</p>
<p>Regular aerobic exercise consisting of 30 45 minutes per day, 3 4 times per week is one important aspect. Additionally, strength training that engages the entire body twice a week will aid in burning more calories, even when your body is at rest. The result is a reduction in your overall body fat, including the “problem areas.” Regarding diet, five to six small meals a day that are low in fat will keep your blood sugar regulated while increasing metabolism and controlling cravings.</p>
<p>If you want to define your waist, this can be done by spot training, which tones the muscles beneath the fat. Do 2 5 of the following toning exercise two times per week, and you will see the results while losing total body fat. Each set should include 8 15 reps. Make sure you are slow and deliberate with your movements so that you feel each and every rep. Here are a few examples:</p>
<p>Basic crunch: This exercise tones the rectus abdominis which is the wide flat muscle that spans from the top of your pelvis up to your breastbone.</p>
<p>While lying on the floor with your feet spread to hip width, place your head in your hands. Be sure not to lace your fingers together. Round your elbows slightly inward. With your chin tilted slightly toward your check, flex your ab muscles inward.</p>
<p>While doing the exercise, breath out through your mouth as you lift your shoulders, head, and neck off the floor. Hold for a moment, then breathe in as you lower yourself down the floor, remembering to take it slow.</p>
<p>Twist crunch: This will work your rectus abdominis too, and also your obliques (both internal and external). These are the waist muscles.</p>
<p>Assume the same position as in the basic crunch, shown above.</p>
<p>Breathe out through the mouth while bringing head, neck, and shoulders upward at an angle to the left. Hold for a moment, and lower yourself back to the center. Lift again, this time toward the right. Alternate sides until you have finished your reps. Be sure while doing this exercise that you are not just twisting with your elbows from side to side. Use your core muscles to lift and twist your body.</p>
<p>Anchoring: By doing this movement, you will use all of your ab muscles; even the deepest muscle called the transverse abdominis. You will also feel this in your lower back.</p>
<p>Begin by lying on your back. Place your left foot on the floor and bring your right leg up with the knee bent. Your thigh should be in a perpendicular line to the floor, and also in line with your hip. While in this position, flex your heel and lift your arms upward, over your chest. Lace your fingers together.</p>
<p>Remembering to keep your movements slow and deliberate, bring your heel and arms down toward the floor. Be sure not to let your back come up off the floor. You can do this by making certain your ab muscles are pulled inward. Expect this to become more difficult as your arms and heel near the floor. When you come close to reaching the floor bring your leg and your arms back to their original positions. Do this again four times using your right leg, then four times with your left leg.</p>
<p>Please note: It doesn’t matter how many sit ups or crunches you do if you are not using the other methods mentioned above to burn fat. Your best results will come from coupling aerobic exercise with full body strength training while targeting problem areas with specific abdominal exercises and cutting overall caloric intake as described above.</p>
